Planning Assistant/ Administrator (Night Shift)

Purpose of the Job

Are you looking for an immediate start, night shift admin vacancy?

If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join a successful, well established, leading global storage and distribution company at their Wisbech depot.

This is a temp to perm position. For the first 12 weeks, you will be employed through us the recruitment agency. After 12 weeks, a permanent, direct contract will then be considered.

If you have good computer skills, are able to work independently and have a confident, friendly telephone manner then this could be the role for you.

Duties and Responsibilities

Planning Assistant/ Administrator key responsibilities;

  • Assist with the Wisbech depot transport operations, liaising directly with the drivers
  • Compiling relevant paperwork for the drivers
  • Data entry
  • General admin duties such as filing, scanning etc

Working Hours

Planning Assistant/ Administrator hours:

  • Night shift- 7pm to 7am (with paid breaks), working 3 nights on, 4 off
  • You will work either Shift A which is Sunday, Monday and Tuesday or Shift B which is Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Shift preference will be discussed at interview.
  • Typically, you will work for 36 hours most weeks, but will be paid for 42 hours
  • When working 36 hours per week, your additional paid hours will be banked and will be used when needing to cover for staff holiday/ sickness

Salary/Hourly Rate

Planning Assistant/ Administrator pay:

  • £18,000 to £20,000 per annum, negotiable on experience

Successful candidate will need:

  • A minimum of 1 years planning/ admin experience (preferred)
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation
  • Friendly, polite and professional telephone manner
  • Able to work independently, using own initiative
  • Good level of English
