Quality Assurance (QA) Night Shift
£21,000 per annum- Negotiable on experience
Moulton, Spalding, Lincolnshire

Purpose of the Job

We have a great opportunity available for an experienced QA to join a leading food manufacturing business specialising in onions. 

This is a full time, permanent position with a direct contract with our client.

Duties and Responsibilities

Quality Assurance (QA) key responsibilities; 

  • Provide customers with products that always meet specifications
  • Be aware of all customer complaints or rejections and take appropriate actions
  • Communicate effectively on quality issues with other departments
  • Inspect quality of raw material and finished product
  • Full responsibility of shelf life
  • Carry out various audits; Glass&Plastic, document control, procedure and process, GMP
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are being adhered to across all functions

Working Hours

Quality Assurance (QA) hours; 

  • Night shift- Monday to Thursday, 17:45 to 02.30 and Sunday 12:45 to 21:30.

Salary/Hourly Rate

Quality Assurance (QA) pay; 

  • Around £21,000 per annum, negotiable on experience

Quality Assurance (QA) skills/ experience required; 

  • Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment, within a QA/ QC role
  • Experience with internal auditing
  • HACCP training
  • Food Safety and Hygiene Level 3
  • Attention to detail
  • High level of English
  • Own transport essential
