Quality Controller (Night Shift)
£9.32+ per hour
Spalding, Pinchbeck, Lincolnshire

Purpose of the Job

Are you an experienced QC/ QA looking for a new challenge in a large, successful food factory?

If so, we have a great opportunity for you to join a friendly, well established business specialising in the supply of fresh fruit and vegetables. 

This is a temp to perm position, a permanent contract will be considered for the right candidate after 12 weeks. 

If you are able to work well as part of a team, have previous QC/ QA experience with good attention to detail skills then this could be the role for you.

Duties and Responsibilities

QC/ QA key responsibilities: 

  • Quality control, ensure product quality standards are met at all times
  • Maintain accurate production records
  • Product life assessments
  • Label checking
  • Training agency staff in product grading
  • Assist with hygiene, HACCP and food safety audits when required

Working Hours

QC/ QA hours: 

  • 3 on, 3 off, night shift- 6pm to 6am

Salary/Hourly Rate

QC/ QA pay: 

  • Your starting salary for the first 12 weeks will be £9.32 per hour
  • After 12 weeks, a permanent contract will be considered with a £22,939 per annum salary

Start Date



Successful candidate will need:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in a food manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of 1 years experience working in a Quality Control (QC) or Quality Assurance (QA) role
  • Attention to detail
  • High level of English
  • Own transport essential
