Purpose of the job
Our client is a leading steel fabrication business based just outside of Kings Lynn.
They are looking for a new Auto – Cad Draughtsperson to join their successful and established team.
You will be responsible for producing Bill-of-Materials, GA’s and fabrication drawings predominantly for secondary and architectural work.
You will be involved in designing bespoke projects for the manufacturing industry (walkways, guards and potentially machine modifications).
You will be able to think quickly on their feet in response to application design changes.
You will work with a system called Advance Steel which is an Autodesk product.
Experience with this software or good experience in 2d and 3d AutoCAD is essential.
You will also have good previous experience working in steel fabrication.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Manage all documentation and data related to a project.
- Work with other project team members.
- Use appropriate drawing instruments.
- Prepare construction Drawings.
- Prepare plans and specifications.
- Read drawings.
Work with one or more computer-aided design packages.
