Purpose of the job
As a Care Team Co-ordinator, working for an independent and successful Home Care Business, based in Wisbech you will play a critical role in ensuring that residents receive high-quality, person-centered care.
Working closely with the care coordinator to coordinate and manage care for residents, considering their individual needs, preferences, and goals.
You will play an important role in the day-to-day planning of our care team’s workload
Duties and Responsibilities
Main Duties:
- Sole responsibility for completing the weekly staff rotas and maintaining working availability for all staff that work within the community.
- Ensuring rotas are at least four weeks in advance where possible and ensuring staff are aware of any changes to the work schedule
- On-call responsibility will be done on a rota basis. Responsibilities whilst on call will include being available to respond to any emergencies and put actions in place to cover any sickness or staff shortages
- Support Care Co-ordinator to monitor and ensure completion of all mandatory training for all staff. Plan time into schedules and work with the support staff team to find time in the rota and availability for this to happen.
- Report All Absences and ensure that the Care co-ordinator has the staff available to complete RTW. RTW meetings need to be completed prior to their first shift back to work. Monitor periods of absence and timekeeping, reporting any patterns
- Monitor employment length to ensure that probationary meetings are booked in within Weeks 1 – 8 and 12 with the Care Coordinator, schedule this into the rota
Skills and experience required:
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in coordination, planning, or booking is advantageous, as it provides you with a head start. However, if you have prior hands-on experience in a caring environment and are now looking to leverage your skills in an office setting, you will thrive in this role.
- Exceptional Customer Service: Outstanding customer service and communication skills are vital for success in this role.
- Team Collaboration: Demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being proactive in your independent work.
- Administrative Proficiency: Showcase excellent administrative and IT skills
Working Hours:
Monday – Friday from 9.00 am till 5.00 pm (plus some on call responsibilities)
Pay Details:
Salary: £23,887 p.a. (plus additional pay for on-call responsibilities).
Pay: £12.25/hr.
30 mins unpaid break
Paid for 37.5hrs
Additional Pay for on-call responsibilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
