Purpose of the job
Our client has been successfully established in Andover, Hampshire for over 40 years ,supplying steel engineering services to various markets throughout the south of the UK, covering an area from Birmingham to the south coast.
They have a fantastic opportunity available for a Customer Services Administrator to join their friendly and welcoming Andover based team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Purchase administration, including raising orders for material & factory supplies.
- Liaising with customers, assisting them with all aspects of their orders.
- Order despatch & invoicing, log petty cash & expenses.
- Oversee production administration including material certification.
- Organising works administration & recordkeeping
- Providing good customer service
- Answering the telephone and responding to e-mail enquires
- Order processing & assisting the sales office
Skills and experience required:
You will have:
- A passion for delivering great customer service and have a keen administrative eye for detail.
- Excellent team working skills and ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment.
- Good all-round administration ability with excellent computer skills
- Organised and proactive
- Professional, business-like telephone manner
- Accurate data entry
- Driving licence useful but not essential
Working Hours:
- Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with a 1 hour lunch break.
Pay Details:
- Competitive salary – £26,000 to £28,000, dependant on experience.
- Profit share.
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays per annum
- Company pension scheme.
- Free onsite parking
