Purpose of the job
Our client is a successful and growing service and maintenance company for commercial catering equipment. They also have their own in-house fabrication manufacturing, producing stainless steel items centred around the installation of commercial ovens.
They are looking for a Warehouse Support/ Delivery Driver to join their team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- The role consists of two parts, first of which is the delivery of equipment around the country that we pre-assemble in our warehouse.
- You will meet a qualified engineer onsite and assist in getting the equipment into position and removing the old equipment.
- Expected to be on the road 2-3 days per week with occasional once or twice a month overnight stay, fully paid for by the company with on-road expenses.
- The rest of the week will be planning and organizing the warehouse, unpacking and assembling the equipment along with loading the vehicles along with the delivery team.
Full training will be given but prior delivery experience would be helpful. Due to fleet insurance policy requirements, the position is over 25 years old only, and all vehicles are under 3.5 tons so no special driving license is required. Safety and company uniform clothing will be provided. Being physically capable is a requirement. This is a permanent contracted position.

Working Hours:
Working days: Monday – Friday
Working hours: 8.00 am – 5.00 pm
Pay Details:
£27.500/ year plus company private health insurance
