Payroll and Finance Manager
Trudy has been the Payroll and Finance Manager at Rapid since 2008. She has spent over 30 years of her working career in the payroll sector and prior to Rapid, her previous role was managing a payroll team at a large national payroll company. Her expertise, qualifications and knowledge in this field, ensures that we can provide an in house payroll service, where we pride ourselves in ensuring that all Rapid’s temps are paid accurately and on-time
Lisa has been with Rapid since 2000 and consequently has an excellent understanding of all aspects of recruitment. Since 2009, she has been the company’s Compliance Officer. Many aspects of employment law have become complex and it is very important that they are complied with. Lisa has an excellent understanding of employment regulations. She regularly gives our clients support and advice in this field, as well as ensuring that Rapid strictly adheres to all the rules and regulations.
Jekaterina plays a key role in sourcing and placing our temporary staff to our wide client base. She has been in the UK since 2009, starting work as a temp. for a clothing business in Birmingham. She moved into recruitment 4 years ago and her desire to get to know our staff and ability to speak 4 languages is a great help in managing our diverse pool of temporary staff.
In Portugal, Jose was the owner of a large shoe production business, employing up to 300 people at their peak times. In the UK, he started as a temp for Rapid in 2002. He then worked directly for a large blue-chip food processing company, where he gained an excellent understanding of the skills needed to work in this industry. In 2008, he returned to work for Rapid as a Resource Manager, managing Rapid’s temporary staff on a daily basis, ensuring that our industrial clients get the right amount of staff at the right times.
Ludmilla started her career with Rapid in 2013, working as a temp. at one of our clients’ sites. Her strong organisational skills meant that she was soon promoted to supervisor, looking after up to 200 staff at busy times. Now based at our offices in Wisbech, her organisational skills are much appreciated, managing the placement of staff as well as covering for a variety of administrative jobs.
Louise is Rapid’s Recruitment Consultant specialising in the skilled permanent vacancies. With 5 years experience in Account Management and 10 years experience in Customer Service, Louise's experience ensures that Rapid’s clients are looked after. As a qualified Teacher, Louise uses her previous skills and knowledge in this area to help train potential candidates from CV tips to preparing for an interview.
John has over 50 years’ experience in the transport sector. For 40 years, he ran his own successful bus and coach business, with a fleet of 20 vehicles. Wanting to reduce his hours of work, he now works as a transport manager, looking after Rapid’s fleet of vehicles and their drivers. He diligently ensures that all rules and regulations are complied with and that our staff, who don’t have their own means of transport, get to work safely and securely.
Beverley has always specialised in Finance. She has over 30 years experience in this sector, starting her career as a Tax Officer at HMRC she then went on to work as a Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Credit Controller for large organisations within East Anglia. Supporting the Payroll Manager, Beverley is responsible for processing Rapid's daily and weekly time sheets as well as helping Rapid's temporary staff with their payroll queries.
