Purpose of the job
Our client is a successful and established manufacturer of bespoke, specialised cases and storage boxes. The business is expanding, and they are looking for case fitters to join their team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Build flight cases efficiently while always achieving a high quality standard using various tools inc. rivet guns, drills, and hand tools
- Follow job worksheets without deviation. Any changes required, report to the supervisor
- Follow your Supervisor`s instructions at all times
- Be punctual, be at your work station ready to work on time, and do not leave before the shift’s finish time
- Be prepared to work in any area requested, carrying out any tasks you have been trained and signed off on.
- Be aware of set targets and strive to achieve them.
- Have a basic understanding of computers
Skills and experience required:
- Familiar with rivet guns, drills, hand tools, etc.
- Good eye for detail
- Physically fit, able to work with a large number of heavy items
- Team player but able to work on own initiative
- Calm in manner, with the ability to demonstrate a good level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise changing workloads
Working Hours:
Hours: 6am – 6pm
Days : Monday -Thursday
Pay Details:
Pay: £12.60 p/h
