Our client is a successful and growing manufacturer of high-quality engine component parts, dedicated to delivering precision, reliability, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

They are continuing to expand and are seeking a proactive and skilled Quality Manager to lead and enhance our quality function.

Role Overview

The Quality Manager will be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality management systems, ensuring compliance across all manufacturing processes, and driving continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

This role requires hands-on experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee, maintain, and continually improve the company’s quality management systems, including compliance with ISO 9000 standards.
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes adhere to established quality procedures and are completed correctly and consistently.
  • Manage and coordinate the full internal and external audit process, ensuring readiness and successful outcomes.
  • Monitor changes in procedures, standards, and regulations, implementing updates as required.
  • Deal promptly, professionally, and effectively with customer complaints, ensuring root-cause analysis and corrective action processes are followed.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support quality initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to colleagues to maintain high quality standards across the organisation.

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a quality management role within manufacturing.
  • Excellent understanding of quality management systems and ISO 9000 standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • A strong team player with a collaborative approach.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
