Purpose of the job
Our client is a leading transport and warehouse business and has vacancies for 4 experienced Forklift Drivers
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include:
- Operating forklift trucks safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Moving stock to designated storage locations.
- Picking and transporting goods for dispatch.
- Checking deliveries against paperwork and reporting discrepancies.
- Inspecting forklifts daily and reporting defects.
- Following health and safety regulations at all times.
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organised.
- Assisting with stock counts and inventory checks.
- Using warehouse management systems or handheld scanners when required.
- Working with warehouse staff to meet productivity targets.
Skills and experience required:
Key skills and requirements:
- Valid FLT licence/certification
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills.
- Physical fitness for warehouse work.
Working Hours:
Shift: 4 on 4 off (6.00 am – 6.00 pm)

£13.25 per hour
